昨年五月、合気道の昇段級で頂く允可状に押されているハンコについての記事を掲載しました。
昇級より昇段の方が、風格のあるハンコを使っていて面白い、という薄い内容の記事でしたが、なんと数か月後、その記事を見たスイスはジュネーブにある合気道道場様から、ハンコ作成のご依頼を頂いたのです。
本部道場に稽古に行ったときには海外の方が多かったり、私が昔勤めていた東京のイタリア料理店の社長から、合気道の修行のためにイタリアから来日した際のレストランでのアルバイト切っ掛けで起業したという話を聞いたり、２０代のころエジプト留学中にスポーツチャンバラのナンチャッテ先生をしていた時、道場の横でエジプト人たちが合気道の稽古をしていたり、やっぱり合気道は世界的に広がっているんだなー、なんて他人事のように考えていたら、まさか私自身も合気道で海外とつながるなんてね。
それにしても、このブログを海外の方も見てることに驚きです。イヤーありがたい！

道場長のポール・ダエール先生はレバノンのご出身でジュネーブ在住。現在合気会六段だそうです。道場開設は１９９４年。
そんな老舗登場から、二種類をご注文いただきました。一つは道場長の角印、もう一つはポール先生ご自身の丸印です。

Last May, I published an article about the stamps used on the kankei-sho (letter of approval) for promotion to higher ranks in Aikido.
It was a thin article, saying that it was more interesting to use a dignified stamp for dan promotion than for kyu promotion, but a few months later, an aikido dojo in Geneva, Switzerland saw the article and asked me to make a stamp for them.
When I went to Hombu Dojo to practice, there were many people from overseas, and I heard from the president of an Italian restaurant in Tokyo, where I used to work, that he had started his own business after coming to Japan from Italy to study aikido and working part-time at the restaurant. When I was studying abroad in Egypt in my 20s, I saw Egyptians practicing aikido next to my dojo when I was a nanchatte sensei in sports chanbara.
I was surprised to know that people from overseas are also reading this blog. Thank you!
I was contacted by Le Cèdre Aïkido Dojo (Sugi Aikido Dojo) in Geneva. Please take a look at the dojo’s website by clicking on the name. However, it is in French. You can translate it with a free translation site.
The head of the dojo, Paul D’Aire Sensei, is from Lebanon and lives in Geneva. He is currently a 6th dan of Aikikai. The dojo was established in 1994.
From such a long-established appearance, we received two types of orders. One is a square seal of the dojo head and the other is a round seal of Paul Sensei himself.
左の角印は漢字のみ。
丸印はカタカナとアルファベットなので難しかった！
そして、先生はレバノンのご出身ですので、オマケにアラビア語でハンコを鮮明に押すための説明書を付けました。言葉が少々間違っているかもしれないけど絵入なので分かってくれるかな。
The square seal on the left is only in kanji characters.
The round seal is in katakana and alphabet, so that was difficult!
And since the teacher is from Lebanon, I included instructions for stamping the stamp clearly in Arabic as a bonus. The words may be a little bit wrong, but I hope you can understand them because they are pictured.
いつかジュネーブに行ったときには、きっと稽古に行きます。

작년 5월 합기도 승단급에서 받는 윤가장에 찍힌 도장에 대한 기사를 실었습니다.
승급보다 승단 쪽이 풍격 있는 도장을 사용하고 있어 재미있다는 얇은 내용의 기사였지만, 무려 몇 달 후 그 기사를 본 스위스는 제네바의 합기도장으로부터 도장을 작성해 달라는 요청을 받았습니다.
본부도장에 연습하러 갔을 때에는 해외 분들이 많거나, 내가 옛날에 근무하던 도쿄의 이탈리아 요리점 사장으로부터 합기도 수행을 위해 이탈리아에서 일본에 왔을 때의 레스토랑 아르바이트 계기로 창업했다는 이야기를 듣거나, 20대 무렵 이집트 유학 중에 스포츠 챔버러 남찻테 선생을 하고 있을 때, 도장 옆에서 이집트인들이 합기도 연습을 하고 있거나, 역시 합기도는 세계적으로 퍼져 있구나, 하는 따위의 남의 일처럼 생각하고 있으면, 설마 나 자신도 합기도에서 해외와 연결된다던가.
그나저나 이 블로그를 해외 분들도 보고 있다는 게 놀랍네요.이어 고맙다!

도장장인 폴 다에르 선생은 레바논 출신으로 제네바 거주.현재 합기회 6단이라고 합니다.도장 개설은 1994년.
그런 전통있는 가게 등장으로 두 종류를 주문하셨습니다.하나는 도장장의 각인, 다른 하나는 폴 선생님 자신의 동그라미표입니다.
왼쪽 각인은 한자뿐.
동그라미표시는 가타가나와 알파벳이라서 어려웠어!
그리고 선생님은 레바논 출신이기 때문에 덤으로 아랍어로 도장을 선명하게 찍기 위한 설명서를 붙였습니다.말이 좀 틀릴지도 모르지만 그림이 들어가 있어서 알아줄 수 있을까?
이 그림을 보고 유학 동료는 분명 나답다고 생각할거야.
언젠가 제네바에 갔을 때에는 반드시 연습하러 갈 것입니다.
그때는 국제 유단자증에 도장을 찍도록 하자.
