SUPパドル形、柿のスプーン。

Persimmon spoon autumn 2021

昨年の秋に作った柿のスプーン。0SUPのパドルをイメージした形です。SUPをする人には分かるかな？

何故か繊維がナミナミになっていて削ると凸凹になりました。

スプーンを作れる大きさの柿はなかなか手に入らないのでありがたい。柿は桜に比べて密なのでずっしり重たいスプーンになりました。

I made this persimmon spoon last fall. 0It is shaped like a SUP paddle, if you are a SUPer, you know what I mean.

For some reason, the fibers are in a naminami pattern, so when I shaved it down, it became uneven.

I am thankful that persimmons large enough to make spoons are hard to find.

The persimmon is denser than the cherry tree, so the spoon is chunky and heavy.
